Hand-built SlimeVR full-body tracking
Genuine ICM-45686 IMUs, a case I designed and printed myself, and every board flashed, calibrated and worn before it goes in the box.
Genuine ICM-45686 — the same IMU the official SlimeVR trackers use, not a cheaper one swapped in where you cannot see it. Drift is the thing that ruins full-body tracking, and it starts at the sensor.
Not a downloaded print. I modelled it myself and measured it against real hardware, through as many revisions as it took to get right.
Every set is flashed, calibrated and used in a real session before it goes in a box. If a tracker is going to fail, it fails here, not on your first night in VRChat.
Standard SlimeVR firmware, standard parts, printable case. Nothing is glued shut and nothing is locked down. If you want to service it yourself later, you can.
The IMU is the part that decides whether your legs stay where you put them. It is also the easiest place to save money, which is why cheaper sets often ship an older sensor and do not mention which one.
What a better sensor buys you is one thing you will actually notice: you should not have to stop mid-session to reset your calibration because your knees have quietly wandered off. That is what drift is, and it is the difference between full-body tracking you forget about and full-body tracking you fight.

Whoever you buy from, ask which sensor is inside. A seller who will not tell you is telling you something.
The full assembly is on video — every solder joint, the case going together, and the first calibration. Watch it before you buy, and if it looks like something you would rather do yourself, the parts list is in the description. That is a completely reasonable outcome.
A Windows PC running SteamVR and the SlimeVR server, plus a headset, and a free USB port for the dongle. The dongle and the straps are in the box.
Six USB-C charging cables are in the box — one per tracker, so you can charge the whole set at once off a multi-port charger or hub rather than working through them one at a time. Any other USB-C cable works too, so you are not tied to the ones I send.
All of it is in the owner’s manual — power, pairing, what every blink pattern means, compass calibration and troubleshooting. The light patterns on that page blink at the same speed the trackers do, so you can hold one next to the screen and match it.
Two things worth knowing before you even open it: a tracker powers itself off five minutes after it loses the receiver, and three quick button presses will unpair it. Both look like faults and neither is.
Returns are accepted for 30 days from delivery, as long as the tracker is not badly damaged. If one fails in that window, or the set is not what you expected, send it back and I will refund you. Normal wear is fine — drop damage, crushing or water is not.
After 30 days I cannot accept returns. I am one person building these by hand, not a company with a warranty department, and I would rather say that plainly up front than be vague now and awkward later.

Yes. These run standard open-source SlimeVR firmware, so official updates work normally and nothing is locked to me.
Around 17–18 hours on a charge — measured off a real set, not estimated. That is several sessions, not one; most people end up charging these every few days rather than nightly. Recharging takes roughly an hour and a half over USB-C.
The long runtime comes from the radio. These do not use Wi-Fi like older trackers did; they use a low-power 2.4 GHz protocol that only wakes the radio in short bursts, which is why a battery this small lasts this long.
Shipping lithium cells across borders brings in rules I am not set up to meet yet. Keeping it domestic means I can send them properly instead of pretending the battery is not in there.
Absolutely, and you should if you enjoy that sort of thing. SlimeVR is open source and the community documentation is good. This is for people who want the result without the soldering.
These are built to be opened and serviced. If one fails after the return window, you do not have to write it off — send it back and I will look at it.
You cover shipping both ways. If it is fixable, I charge a small fee for parts and time, and I will quote you before I touch it — nothing gets done without you agreeing to the number first. If it is not economically fixable I will tell you that instead of charging you to find out.
Most failures are a strap, a connector or a battery, and those are straightforward. Crush and water damage usually are not.
This is not a warranty and there is no turnaround guarantee — I am one person, and I would rather be honest about that than quote you a date I cannot hold. I would still much rather fix a tracker than have it end up in a drawer.
